Do you want task 1 to be a sequential/manga piece or a one piece deal?

A one piece deal would be a still shot of your characters cheating

3 still shots for each character cheating.

You can draw three shots for each character doing their thing. Some what like drawing three pieces.

A manga would be a squentially laid out story of your characters cheating. Sequentials can be as long as you want them to be. They could be on one single long jpg image. What ever works for you.

one piece.
people had harde time making it in time for the draft - i belive making a manga strip will take even longer, so i think one piece will be more then enough...

Edit: when i think about it, in amanga strip will need more charecters to make a conversation, it will be wirde to make the charecter talk to it self Neutral

Sequentials also show more then just deep thoughts of a character.

It's something that you'll have to learn to deal with eventually.

I say sequentials. Its the only way to show a characters true nature. I already have mine planed out. Please be sequential. It will allow artist to show their true creativity and its bound to go sequential anyway when the fighting starts (I hope) Yeah I'm so excited. Thanks DAN

I think sequentials are better. Like people have already stated, it makes our characters "clearer" and adds to the fun. Wink

i went for sequentials, since it could work either way really 8S.........

wen dan said 1 big piece, i was thinking like 1 picture of the whole room with ever 1 in there X_D....

but yeah 8D... both choices are good. manga paneling would work if ur gonna be showing every movement they make 8|... also a good way to include ur opponent's characters, i guess.

one shot may be easier to draw, but sequential would be more informative in terms of the characters' abilities/personalities/natures/etc.
and certainly has more room to be creative with.
plus it'll be fun to see what dialogue people come up with.
oh, and if it's gonna be sequential, i think it should be B/W rather than color cause the length will be different for everybody.

and i think it'd be cool if all our character had assigned seats.
that way, everyone can tell their part of the story, all in the same setting. u know? making it more interesting. but then that might prove to be slightly more difficult..

also, people should be given the option to cheat off of the proctors if they wish rather than the ninjas they're paired up with. cause let's face it, the proctors are the primary source of the answers anyway. plus, i really feel bad for the guy who has to draw my characters.. -_- (srry. i thought it was like 1-part contest)

oh by the way Dan, how is elimination process gonna take place?
i mean, obviously everyone's gonna make their character be able to cheat off of others without having them disqualified.
is that what the contestant pairs are for? is 1 of the 2 bound to be eliminated? what if both of them display greater creativity than some other pairs?
